It is such a joy to be able to see light and color and translate that vision into something others can enjoy. My new wild color abstracts give me the freedom to experiment with pure color and create pieces that call forth an immediate response from the viewer. For me, it is almost a meditation to watch the liquid pigments slowly move and blend into fantasy color art. While appearing merely as pleasant abstracts at first view, when they are studied further, the intricacy of design and depth of colors begin to suggest shapes, forms, and to evoke feelings. Each person who views the art sees different things in it, blending physical vision with subconscious responses. The more time spent looking, the more each will see. I have no agenda as to what each will experience. My only hope is that the viewer will make a connection between the piece and something within themselves.
